When you are in SmartTime, any time you make a change to an Event or a Task, SmartTime performs a one-way sync to your iPhone calendar, to update it. This means that any changes that you have made in your iPhone calendar will be updated to SmartTime each time you start it. Automatic SyncingĮach time you start SmartTime, it performs a background sync with your iPhone calendar. For example, let’s say you already have two calendars in your iPhone calendar called “Work” and “Play.” And let’s say you already have two Projects in SmartTime called ” Work” and “Family.” After the first time you sync, you will have three calendars in each called “Work,” “Play” and “Family.” What’s more, the data that was in your iPhone “Work” calendar will merge with the data that is in your SmartTime “Work” project. SmartTime automatically maps with your iPhone calendar. But there are a few things to be aware of…. That means you can create new Projects in SmartTime, and when you sync with your iPhone calendar, new calendars are created with matching names. It takes advantage of new features in iOS6, including the ability to create new calendars on your iPhone calendar from within SmartTime. SmartTime 6 is designed specifically to work with iOS6.
